How to upload your website files

This guide explains how to upload your website files using cPanel.

Your website files must be placed inside the public_html directory in order to appear on your domain.

Log in to cPanel

First log in to your hosting control panel from the My Services page.

Open File Manager

Inside cPanel locate the Files section.

Click File Manager.

Open the public_html Directory

Your website files should be uploaded into the folder named:

public_html

This directory controls what visitors see when they visit your website.

Uploading Files

Click the Upload button at the top of File Manager.

Select the files from your computer and upload them to the server.

Viewing Your Website

Once your files have been uploaded, visit your domain in a browser to see your website.

If you recently changed your domain settings, it may take time for DNS changes to propagate.
