How to install WordPress using cPanel

This guide explains how to install WordPress using cPanel.

WordPress is one of the most popular website platforms and can be installed quickly using the tools provided in your hosting account.

Log in to cPanel

First log in to your hosting control panel through the My Services page.

Locate the WordPress Installer

Scroll to the Software section inside cPanel.

Click the WordPress Manager or WordPress Installer option.

Start the Installation

Click Install and choose the domain where you want WordPress installed.

You will be asked to configure:

  • Site name
  • Admin username
  • Admin password
  • Admin email address

Accessing Your WordPress Site

Once the installation is complete you can log in to your WordPress dashboard by visiting:

yourdomain.com/wp-admin

Use the username and password you created during installation.
